The Young Emmanuel Philharmonic Orchestra, the humanitarian Organization Fraternidade sem Fronteiras (FSF) project , retook the classes for the year 2022 for vulnerable situations,children and young people,in in Campo Grande-MS .
The return of the 92 Orchestra students will take place gradually due to the pandemic.
“I hope this year will be better than last year.
We will keep moving, always ”, says Conductor Orion Cruz, coordinator of the Orchestra.
The activities work in person, every day, from Monday to Friday, in the afternoon, in two centers in Campo Grande – MS. All students and teachers follow the standards of biosafety against COVID – 19.
Since the beginning of the year, the Young Emmanuel Philharmonic Orchestra has reinforced the importance of the campaign to collect new instruments to serve new welcomed students.
The campaign intends to collect:
10 violins, 4 trumpets, 3 trombones, 2 high saxophones, 2 tenor saxophones, 2 sib clarinets, 6 classical viola, 2 double basses, 4 cellos and 2 transverse flutes.
“The Orchestra has evolved and,as a result, more children and young people are arriving, so we need to give logistical support to receive them.
Therefore, we need instruments to be able to foster more and more and broaden the horizons of music education to them”, says the Orchestra coordinator.
For those who are donating, the instruments must be delivered to FWB Headquarters, located at Rua Praia da Pituba, 53, Jardim Autonomista – Campo Grande – MS, between 8AM and 5PM.
