“FWB has no ideological, social, religious or geographical boundaries and I think that’s an extraordinary thing. Where is Fraternity without Borders? Where people need it, where there is a need. And that enchanted me from the beginning and so I got involved, I felt my heart attached to that ideal.”
Sister Aíla Pinheiro saw her heart passionate about the Fraternity’s cause without borders from the very beginning. The call to support came when she realized FWB’s core ideal: to live and do good as one universal family, regardless of religion, geography, ethnicity or anything else.
“I feel my heart really tied to it from the beginning,” she declared
An active partner and present at all the major events held by the NGO, the sister says she found herself totally involved the day she met the president and founder of Fraternity, Wagner Moura “Since the first time I met Wagner’s work in Campo Grande and had the opportunity to get to know this dream dreamed by him and all the great ideals he carries, the title Fraternity without Borders started to make perfect sense to me.”
